Ryuko-ji, a temple that one Buddhist cleric was about to be guillotined by a Japanese style back in 1272. It is said that the cleric was saved by a strong sunlight which ran into the executioner’s eyes.
This plant with red fruit is often seen in Japanese temples. I learned that it is called Heavenly Bamboo in English. I like that name.
