My photo won a silver prize!

Around Yokohama (Kanagawa Pref.), Awards/Publications, Japan

Today, I won a silver prize from a photo contest hosted by a shopping building called “Markis Minatomirai” located in Minatomirai, Yokohama City.

The photo that won the prize is this one:

On the day I went to the Markis Minatomirai, I saw many kids running around at the rooftop garden where I took this photo. I bended my knees and imagined, do the world is seen like this by these kids?

The building in the back of the picture is called the Landmark Tower, the signature building of Yokohama area.

My piece is also found from here (page all in Japanese). Seventh photo from the top. It says that this photo has won the silver prize.

It is my very first time to win a prize for my photo so I am… simply happy!

I always wish that the picture I take can share the beautiful scene in front of me with many people.

More photos I took from the same building is here: the one focusing on the lavenders and the silver grass.
