A Redeveloped Area: Futakotamagawa

Japan, Tokyo

If you go across the river called Tamagawa, it’s already Kanagawa Pref., so the left side, Futakotamagawa, is the most southern part of Tokyo.

I’m very familiar to this area because I’ve visited here when I visit my grandparent in my childhood. They live at one station along this Tokyu Oichimachi Line.

Back then, there were no such tall buildings like these. These are constructed like five years ago or something.

The river side is calm. Barbecuing is allowed on the other side.

Come to the river side to escape from the crowd.

The shopping buildings around the Futakotamagawa Station is attracting too much people and you will get tired of it so easily.
