Kyotographie, an international festival of photography has started from today in Kyoto, Japan.
My photograph above is joining the “KG+“, one of the satellite events of the festival. KG+ incorporates several exhibitions and my piece is taking part in the Einstein Studio Prints whose venue is Hotel Anteroom Kyoto. I’m thrilled to announce that my photo is now on sale on the website of the Einstein Studio.
The title of the photo is named after the place I shot this, Eureka Skydeck. Eureka, a Greek word, is a phrase means something like “I’ve found it!” It is said that mathematician Archimedes exclaimed this when he finally discovered the clue of his long time problem of how to determine the purity of gold.
When I stepped out from the tower to its terrace, My small eyes were so wide opened seeing the broad broad view of Melbourne that the clear sky enabled us to enjoy it. It was definitely our “We’ve found it!”
I’m planning to visit Kyoto next week and see how my piece is taking part in the exhibition. It is my first time to join an international event of photography in such a big scale.
