A Pair of a Museum and a Mountain

Japan, Tottori

Daisen, a 1,729m high mountain of Tottori, can be seen from the Shoji Ueda Mueum of Photography.

The building of the museum is super plain but stylish.

and you can see the mountain from inside the museum.

I don’t know why the photographer decided to build his museum in the middle of nowhere (well, there were tons of rice fields) but may be that spontaneousness leades to his style of photography.

I just loved the pair: the museum and Daisen.
